WAYSIDE Creations X NINTENDO Short

Wayside Productions of NUKA Break Internet fame, came to us to create some VFX shots for a small Short for Nintendo's Launch of Super MARIO 3D World. We here are all fans of the franchise and something for Mario would have to be something really eye-catching and lighthearted at the same time. The Turnaround was 3 days. We at GOMA were responsible for the Super Mario Canon Box Model, Animation, Compositing, and all around Flava when it comes to our favorite Plumber and crew. Below you can see what we did to make the Canon BOX come to life and a little of what we do around here at GOMA!

GOMA was responsible for only the Canon BOX shots in Wayside Creations Nintendo's short. It was a fairly simple model, but we were more interested in capturing the motion of and the general feel of lightheartedness of the small piece. From Wayside's Zack Finfrock's mannerisms, we try to mimic and enhance the storytelling by exaggerating motions and putting some of our flair for the final blast that comes out of the Canon.
