Alexis Mincolla Creative Director and GOMA came together to bring to life a different vision of Festival Promotions.  With much of the promotions felt through the web and through media, we came up with a solution to make sure that people would take notice. Overthrow has consecutively has always come out of the box when it comes to promotions, and with the Basel Castle attracting more and more attention every year, we at GOMA delivered in a very fast paced way. Turn around for this project was roughly a month and half. Here are some of the work that went into this particular project. 

We were to bring an apocalyptic vision of MIAMI to this project. Looking at the the artist being featured at BASEL CASTLE, GOMA felt that L'amour Supreme of MISHKA fame was our look for the 3 snakes on the buildings in MIAMI.  Iconic and just fucking cool this was our first foray with the project . 

These were the initial sketches of the L'amour Supreme's Cylcop Heads. Our vision was to showcase these creatures, Cyclop Serpents, on top of some skyscrapers overlooking the festival. The gaze from the eyes of the Cyclop Serpents would put the spell on MIAMI. This was to be the initial feeling of a Takeover. Its kind of what OVERTHROW does.
